Late 19th Century Italian Grand Tour rich dark brown patinated cabinet bronze of the Emperor Augustus of Prima Porta, after the antique original discovered in 1863 at the Villa of Livia and now housed in the in the Braccio Nuovo in the Vatican Museum. Good quality casting presented on a circular socle base. Rome, circa 1890.
