Walking Stick Cane 1918 Hallmarked Solid Silver Pommel Bamboo Shaft Tigers Eye

Lovely bamboo wood and hallmarked silver walking stick or cane topped
 
with an exceptional tigers eye stone pommel top.
 
The silver was assayed in London as shown in the pictures, date letter for 1918
 
and makers mark for Bert & Co Vigo Street London.
 
Plain silver collar with an engraved line around the lower section.
 
The tigers eye stone has clear ribs through the stone with super colour contrast.
 
It measures 91 cm 35 13/16 inches in length, the pommel is 4.6 cm 1 13/16 inches wide.
 
The ferrule is original and made of bovine bone.
 
It''s in excellent condition but with some signs of age and
 
use as you''d expect at this age.
 
Some minor surface marks to the silver as shown, also to the surface of the shaft.
 
No breaks or repairs on any part of the cane.
