Description

This large antique mahogany desk is really fine quality & is in very good original condition, dating from the 1910 period.

It has an inverted breakfront on the back & front. There is reeding all the way around the top section & the tooled leather writing surface looks original, with loads of character & a few old age related marks. The drawers are all graduated in depth with fine dovetails, original brass handles & locks. It sits on splayed feet & is finished all the way around.

This desk is a good size, with plenty of working space & it does have the proportions of a partners desk. The back is finished off as well as the front, so it can be free standing. It simply lifts apart into three sections for easy transportation.
