An elegant and refined Victorian era walnut glazed 2 door bookcase cabinet dating to c1880. It has a delicate boxwood inlaid design in the centre of the frieze and midway on the sides. It is embellished with a brass gadrooned strip surround at the base of the frieze. The doors and sides are inlaid with boxwood stringing. It has a lock and key, and the left door has two latches top and base. Inside are 2 shelves giving 3 storage/display levels.

The front of the shelves and about 2 inches of theIr surface are veneered in matching boxwood strung walnut.
