Description

Superb quality & great looking burr walnut antique Queen Anne style desk, dating from the 1920’s period & in excellent condition.

It has a hand coloured tooled leather writing surface with a carved top edge all the way around. There are three drawers with fine dovetails, locks & original brass handles. The top, front, sides & back are all a beautifully patterned burr walnut. The legs are solid walnut with bold carvings on the tops of all four legs, while the ball & claw feet are well defined.

This writing table is finished off just as well on the back as it is on the front, so it was designed to be free standing if necessary. It also has an inverted breakfront.
