This FINE WILLIAM IV MAHOGANY BOOK STAND, raised on FOUR FLAT BUN FEET, is stamped with the Maker's name on the base.

It reads: FROM W. FREEMAN'S MANUFACTORY, SWAN LANE, NORWICH. The Family produced work for Blickling and Felbrigg Halls and The Great Exhibition.

The BOOK STAND has been made from well-chosen timber and has good dove-tailing detail. It is in original condition throughout with a good patina.
