Antique Victorian Mahogany Leather Top Pedestal Desk

Description

Good size antique mahogany Victorian pedestal desk in good original condition, with loads of character & a lovely warm colour.

It has a tooled leather writing surface & a finished polished back. The drawers are graduated in depth, with mahogany handles & locks in all the drawers. The top section lifts off the two pedestals which makes it easy to deliver.

This desk has a generous kneehole space & is free from splits or warps. The front corners are rounded & it sits on strong plinth bases. I would date it to around the 1880’s period.

Depth – 30 inches, 77 cm

Height – 30 inches, 77 cm

Knee height – 24 inches, 61 cm

Knee width – 22 inches, 55 cm
