A Rare Victorian Silver Pate Spade

Description

A delightful and rather rare piece of Victorian silver tableware. This is a charming pate server/spreader, with a shaped silver blade and a mother-of-pearl handle. These charming and useful items were lovely tea table items and can also be used for butter. The blade is beautifully engraved and the ferrule is fluted with a collar. A practical and attractive collector's piece. Dimensions below.
