Pair of Georgian Old Sheffield Plate Half Pint Tankards C1800

Description

Dating to c1800, these half pint tankards are made of Old Sheffield Plate and have engraved initials to the front. Faintly seamed to both interior and exterior, they are classically shaped pieces.

Dimensions - Total weight approx. 376g. Height approx. 10.5cm. Diameter at rim approx 7.75cm.

Condition - overall very good considering age, there is copper bleed to initials and raised edges. Minor ding to one goblet and slight surface wear to both. Small split to back of one tankard- see photos.
