19thc Silver Plated Communion Jug & 2 Goblets - Walker & Hall

Description

A good silver plated communion jug and 2 goblets which are all marked for respected maker Walker and Hall. Dating to 19th Century, the pieces are all beautifully engraved for 'IHS' and a Cross inside a Sun.

One Goblet is gilded to the interior and the other is rather blackened (probably needs to be re-gilded).

In good condition - small patch of wear to the base of one goblet - see photo. General surface wear due to age and use.

Total Weight approx. 2.1kg.

Communion Jug - Height approx. 29cm. Base diameter approx. 15cm.

Goblet - height approx. 16.5cm. Diameter at rim approx. 9cm.
