A French four glass mantel clock. A gilded bezel surround to the floral chased enamel dial. A mercury compensating pendulum to the 8-day duration mechanism striking the 1/2 hours and hours on a gong. Signed to the dial 'Mappin and Webb' as retailers. Circa 1895.
