Description

A rare, small English Georgian Regency period mantel clock. A bronze patinated case with gilded base and pediment. A convex silvered dial with gilt brass hands. Cherubs and harps to the sides. An 8-day duration timepiece mechanism.

The backplate is engraved 'Gilbert late Jefferies and Gilbert' and signed 'Gilbert, London' to the dial.
