The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1910s.
The watch has a seven jewel stem-winding gilt movement which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 21,021,001 dates it back to around 1917. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop.
The case has some surface marking but overall lovely condition for such an early piece.

The acrylic lens has light marking but is very acceptable.
The signed dial is in lovely condition. The paint, which was probably illuminous, has been removed from the numbers at some stage. Blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
