Description

A very large superb Old Sheffield Plated candelabra which is marked for highly respected maker Dixon and Sons to both the base and the branches. The piece dates to c1830 and is an ornate five brance piece with floral swags.

The base is also marked for JF Brook, who is possibly a craftsman and the piece disassembles for easy cleaning. Overall, a stunning table centrepiece.

Condition is overall very good with slight copper bleed to raised edges and a slight bend to the top removable stopper. Minor renovation is required to the stopper.
