Pair of 19thc Old Sheffield Plate Wine Bottle Coasters C1830

Description

A fine pair of Old Sheffield Plate wine bottle coasters which date to c1830 and are marked for maker Creswick.

They are very fine and well made pieces and are ornately decorated with grape vine detailing to the edges. They have turned wooden bases with wonderful coloration to them.

In good condition - slight surface wear and some copper bleed due to age and use. Slight split to one of the wooden inards

Total weight approx 818g.
