1920s Swiss Ramson Full Hunter Pocket Watch

1920s Swiss Ramson full hunter pocket watch.

The watch has a nice quality Swiss 15-jewel stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and is the Star model made by the Dennison Watch Case Company... the company supplied cases for various watch manufacturers, both Swiss and American. The case has light surface marks from use and a few small "dings" to the front and back covers but overall it is in nice condition for a 1920s piece.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside there is a glass lens which is in nice condition.

The white enamel dial is signed Ramson. It has a small nibble mainly under the bezel at 10 o'clock and a very faint hairline crack but otherwise it is in nice condition. Original blued steel hands.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
