A fine pair of 18th century silver shell dishes, hallmarked London 1796 makers mark in script TW. for Thomas Wallis.
Well formed fluted scallop shells with whelk shell feet.
Both in excellent condition with no damage or repair and little sign of use or wear.
4,5/8'' x 4,5/8'' or 117mm x 117mm, each shell weighs 125 grams.
