Gents large 14ct gold Art Deco Mobile wrist watch from Lesquereux & Cie.

The watch has a hand-winding movement, identified as being by Fabrique d'Horlogerie de Fontainemelon, which is working nicely.

The watch is a very wearable size at 25mm wide excluding the winding crown and 39mm high excluding the lugs. The hinged case back is stamped 14K and it also has the squirrel mark which is the Swiss fineness mark for 14ct gold. The case back is also signed with the Mobile name and logo, registered in 1902 by Lesquereux & Cie of La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. The case is in lovely condition, just the odd minor mark but nothing too detrimental at all.

The lens is in lovely condition.

The dial is in its original finish with very handsome exploding numbers. There is a small amount of paint loss but overall the condition is lovely, and what a fantastic look.

The watch comes on a later leather strap.

The watch will come in a new presentation box.
