Long Mahogany Breakfront Bookcase C.1905.

Description

Quality Edwardian mahogany glazed bookcase by the London makers Spillman & Co. c.1905. Six foot long and breakfronted, with three glazed doors fitted inside with three adjustable shelves to each (internal depth 8½" / 10½"). Solid mahogany top with a moulded edge over a fluted frieze across the front. Slim astragal glazing bars with 13 separate glass panes to each door. Moulded detail to the uprights which end in short tapering square feet. Solid mahogany sides and shelves. Original maker’s label inside the centre door. Excellent colour and condition, keys supplied.
