Description

A stunning, fine and impressive antique 0.66 carat diamond and 0.59 carat emerald, 14 carat yellow gold and 14ct white gold wreath brooch in the Art Deco style; part of our diverse antique jewellery and estate jewelry collections
This stunning antique 1930's diamond and emerald brooch has been crafted in 14 ct yellow gold, with a 14 ct white gold setting.
The circular brooch has been modelled in the form of a stylised wreath and tied bow.
The brooch features an exceptional scrolling bow design accented with a feature independently collet set 0.22ct and 0.25ct diamonds, in addition to two impressive triangular and pentagonal cut emeralds, totalling 0.59 carats.
The scrolling Art Deco bow design incorporates three broad ribbon motifs accented with nine pavé set Old European cut diamonds.
The plain circular yellow gold frame is further embellished with an enveloping scrolling ribbon design to one side, ornamented with five Old European cut diamonds.
The brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and safety clasp, crafted in 14 ct yellow gold.
This impressive antique emerald and diamond brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 14 carat gold.
This 1930s brooch is supplied with two independent diamond grading report certificates for the feature diamonds, in addition to an independent diamond grading report card for the supporting stones.
"Rather than regarding inclusions in coloured stones as harmful, in small sizes and numbers that do not in any way detract from their beauty, they should be regarded as adding to desirability, for they provide identifying characteristics."
