A 1920s Minerva full hunter pocket watch originally retailed by Porte & Markle Winnipeg.

The watch has a high grade Swiss stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is stamped Porte & Markle, Winnipeg, 16 jewels, Swiss made. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 51mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold filled and was made by the Philadelphia watch case company. The case has light surface marks from use and a couple of mild bruises to the back and dust cover but overall it is in nice condition for a 1920s piece.

The winding crown pushes down to open the front cover. It reveals a white enamel dial with an acrylic lens which is in nice condition.

The white enamel dial is signed Porte & Markle Limited, Winnipeg. The dial has several faint hairline cracks between 9 & 10 o'clock but otherwise it is in nice condition.

The watch has its original blued steel hands.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
