Description

Pair of antique French kidney shaped marble top side tables in good original condition & with lots of character. These tables have pierced gilt bronze galleries around the top & bottom levels. They also have other gilt bronze mounts, handles & feet. The drawer fronts have different scenes surrounded by more gilt bronze. The gilding is naturally aged on these tables & I like them as they are. There is a little bit of the front of one of the top galleries missing, which you can just make out if you enlarge the images of both tops. This is hardly noticeable & was probably done along time ago. These side tables are finished & polished all the way around & I would date them to around the 1930’s period.
