The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1940s.
The watch has a stem-winding movement, calibre 32A, which is working nicely. The movement is signed both General Watch Company and Helvetia.

The watch measures 51mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is chrome plated. The front and sides are in good condition. The case back has general surface marks. The case back also has the military arrow, or pheon, together with the GSTP mark and store code.

The watch glass is in lovely condition.
The signed dial is in lovely condition. The luminous paint has been removed from the hands and numbers at some stage.
The watch comes with a leather albert of around the same age as the watch.
The watch and albert will come in a new presentation box.
