by noted maker V Somalvico, Hatton Garden, London. A silvered thermometer scale and well engraved main dial.

Vincent Somalvico is recorded in Banfields 'Barometer Makers and Retailers' book as working 1856-1858. His brothers and fathers worked in London from 1795.
