Antique silver Dimier Freres pocket watch and chain.

The watch has a Swiss 15-jewel stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement has the logo for Dimier Freres & Cie, a watch importer / exporter based in La Chaux de Fonds, Switzerland and London. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which has some fairly gentle unevenness.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside both of the case backs for London (import mark) 1918 and the importer's mark for Dimier Brothers. Overall the case is in good condition, a small 'ding' to the bezel and some unevenness to the hinged case back but not too detrimental.

The acrylic lens is in lovely condition.

The enamel dial has a faint hairline crack coming down from number 11 and some on the sub seconds dial although faint. Original blued steel hands, sub seconds dial and an outer minute track.

The watch comes with a single white metal albert, 32cm long including the T-bar and the clasp. This is a good quality chain of unusual design with interesting links.

The watch and chain come in a new presentation box.
