The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1920s.
Jeanneret established Moeris in 1883. This Moeris watch was then sold under the brand name Trojan, a brand name registered by Armand Jeanneret in 1924. The movement boasts a ‘safety barrel’ which is a device to prevent damage in the event of the mainspring breaking. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch itself measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is the gold plated Star model from the Dennison Watch Case Company. The company supplied cases to various watch makers.
The watch lens is acrylic and is in nice condition.
The signed white enamel dial is in good condition and has original blued steel hands.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
