Marylebone Antiques has dated this piece to the 1930s.
There’s also a light fitting, but that would need rewiring because of the age. Having said that, the light is not really that necessary. Please enlarge all the images & if you look closely, there is actually a butterfly inset next to the floral marquetry on the flap. There are gilt bronze mounts, trimmings, escutcheons & feet. The canted corners are also inlaid.

This cabinet was very well made with fine attention to detail. It’s in excellent original condition & I would date it to around the 1930’s period.
