Description

Antique William & Mary style walnut sideboard of incredible quality & dating to around the 1930’s period. It has a burr walnut top with a cross banded edge & fine carving all around. There are two burr walnut panelled cupboards with shell carvings on the tops & a central burr walnut drawer with a cross banded edge, plus another shell carving below. The cupboards & the drawer have the original brass handles. It’s beautifully shaped all around the bottom & has solid walnut turned legs with exquisite carving on the middle & on the feet. The legs are joined by very decorative ‘X’ framed shaped cross stretchers. This sideboard has just been French polished & we do have a matching server side table on our site too, although I can’t guarantee it will still be there by the time you read this.
