Victorian Pine Chest of Drawers

19th century
Description

A beautiful pine chest of drawers dating from late 19th Century. It is a good large size and offers plenty of storage. Each drawer has white ceramic knobs and they stand on a plinth base with attractive canted edges. The pine has a lovely pale colour and has been lightly polished to give a smooth wax finish.

They are in very good condition for their age. Each drawer is generally clean and tidy and opens and closes smoothly. There are some signs of age and use with light surface marks, scratches, knocks and some minor wear to the finish but nothing detrimental. They are strong and sturdy and they have been cleaned and are ready for use.
