Antique Victorian Mahogany Writing Desk

Description

Antique Victorian mahogany writing table with a tooled leather writing surface & a finished polished back. It dates from around the 1860-80’s period & is in excellent original condition, with plenty of character. There are three drawers, finely dovetailed & with turned mahogany handles. It has turned legs, with original brass cupped casters. This desk has lovely proportions, being not too deep for the length & it’s nice to have the format of three drawers.

Depth – 21 inches, 54 cm

Height – 28 inches, 71 cm

Knee height – 23 inches, 58 cm
