Description

An attractive continental carved walnut and marble-topped four-drawer commode or chest of drawers probably from Italy. Having a good looking and warm coloured marble top, above four drawers, nicely decorated with floral and foliage carving. The drawers flanked to either side by fluted columns topped by large acanthus leaf decoration and the drawer fronts having pretty keyhole escutcheons and drop handles. The whole standing on turned bun feet.
