Description

An imposing large Rosewood box and very unusual to be inlaid with Ivory, this type of box is usually inlaid with Mother of Pearl.

The box lid is adorned with carved Ivory beading all around and the front of the box above the base plinth also has complimentary Ivory beading.

This exotic box has two turned Rosewood ring handles, one each side. The interior has been relined is hand marbled paper in a vibrant colour, nice and clean and ready for use whatever you wish to use this stunning example for.

Excellent condition and an imposing size measuring 13 1/2" x 10 1/2" x 8" tall.
