A 19th.Century walnut Trinity House trinket box. The lid inlaid with a British clipper in full sail set within an oval panel all in various imported and stained woods.The interior having various inlaid lids and compartments. NOTE - Trinity House boxes were made by lighthouse keepers while serving offshore to while away the time. Their nautical romantic theme have always made them very collectable and often sold to owners and Captains of passing ships. Dimensions:- Height…5’’/ 12.5cm. Width…12.75’’/ 32.5cm. Depth…9’’/ 22.5cm.
