Victorian 9ct Gold Garnet Memorial Locket Pendant & Chain

A lovely antique 9ct gold garnet locket. A very fine example of a memorial locket from the Victorian period (1837 – 1901). There is a gorgeous ½ carat oval rhodolite garnet set to the centre, surrounded by patterned ropework with further ropework to the circular edge and encased hairwork to the rear. The pendant is supplied with a later 9ct gold 17” trace chain from the 1940s onwards. A part of our antique pendant collection.
