Small Wall Dial Clock Earl of Bristol

Description

A small 7 1/2" dial wall clock. A mahogany case with a brass bezel surround. A painted dial signed 'Earl Bristol' with blued steel hands. An 8-day duration timepiece mechanism by noted makers Winterhalder & Hoffmeier. Circa 1895.

Earl of Bristol were makers and retailers in the 19th and 20th century. They worked at Christmas Steps and Lower Park Hill and later in the shopping centre.

Height/Width 10" / 25 cms Depth 4 1/2 " / 11 cms.
