1901 Waltham half hunter pocket watch for Schierwater & Lloyd.

The watch has a stem-winding movement, seven jewel Traveler grade, which is working nicely. The gilded movement is fully signed and the serial number 10,479,356 dates it back to 1901. The movement is protected by an inner cover which has a lot of surface scratching.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and it is in very nice condition with just light surface marking. There is scratching to the inside of the case back.

The winding stem pushes in to open the front cover.

Inside there is an acrylic lens which is in good condition.

The dial is signed Schierwater & Lloyd, Liverpool, the company one of the UK’s largest retail agents for Waltham watches. There are several hairline cracks although they are light. Blued steel hands including the special half hunter hour hand so that the time can be read when the front cover is closed.

The watch comes in a Schierwater & Lloyd presentation box.
