Description

This handsome antique pair of heavy bookends are made of brass, are in the form of Galleon sailing ships and date from the early 20th century.

They are marked to the back with the following inscription - A Galleon in the time of Elizabeth. 1558-1606. They also have the registered design number - 702167 and England.

Weight: 3 Kg total approx.

Condition: Good used antique condition with signs of use and age related wear leaving a wonderful patina. Some nibbles and small losses. Nice original condition and not restored / over cleaned.
