George V Silver Ring Tree by Gourdel Vales & Co, Birmingham 1910

1900 - 1920
Description

This is a very decorative solid silver ring tree made by Gourdel Vale & Co and dated Birmingham 1910. The plain circular loaded base with central tapered stem. The stem with a terminal modelled as a thistle and inset with an amethyst glass finial. The textured terminal with four ring hooks.

Hallmarks:

G.V & Co for Gourdel Vales & Co.

Birmingham Assay Mark.

Date letter "l" for 1910.

Lion passant.

Condition:

Very good.

Slight movement to the base

Good set of marks.

Dimensions:

Height: 8.5cm - 3.2 inches.

Base diameter: 6.5 cm - 2.4 inches.
