A Stunning Victorian Overlay Glass Cologne Bottle

A gorgeous example of 19th Century overlay glass. This lovely cologne bottle is of globe and shaft shape with a raised base rim and a matching white stopper. The bottle is clear, overlaid in white and then blue. The patterns are then cut back through the colours, skilled and labour intensive work. An eye catching and usable piece in the Bohemian taste. Condition :- Excellent, with no chips or cracks. The stopper has some mottling under the glaze, also found on the white body band. This is not damage but part of the manufacture.
