Nineteenth century brass Russian Orthodox Enameled Brass Crucifixion Cross.
The eight-ended cross with a scene of the Crucifixion at Golgotha, surmounted by two Angels and God the Father in Heaven.
Enameled in green and blue with minimal loss, surface wear to the high points throughout.
Traveling or altar cross, the back decorated with climbing tree (of life) surmounted with a crown, the bottom cut with later corner notches to fit in a base/stand.
In very good sound condition with no damage or repairs.
