Regency brass inlaid worktable

This Regency brass inlaid worktable was made circa 1810.

The body in rosewood and then inlaid with fine cut brass.

The workbox has a lid that opens on brass hinges to reveal an open storage area. Formerly it was fitted tea cannisters.

Under the workbox is the tapering column again with fine inlaid cut brass that runs down to the platform base again with the superb cut brass inlay, and then the whole stands on the original cast brass paw feet.
