A rare bureau in very good condition, solid oak construction with decorative carvings and brass handles.
There are a pair of carved doors at the top which open to reveal a split storage space.
Fine craftsmanship is displayed throughout, a huge amount of effort has gone into the construction of this piece. Beautiful aged oak colour and hand waxed finish.
The carved drop flap opens out to make a neat writing surface with large brass hinges, inside it has 9 pigeon holes and 2 small drawers for stationary.
