1871 Oxford University Boat Race Skull Seat

Description

A very rare skull seat used in the 1871 Oxford University Bumps Race. The wooden seat is dated 1871 and bears the coat of arms of Oxford University and lists all crew members. The seat has its original brass wheels and runners.

This antique seat is in used condition with some cracks, these have not been restored as we feel to do so would reduce the charm and authenticity of this unusual piece.

A fabulous item for the rowing enthusiast or collector and a great display piece.
