A Fine Quality Mahogany Early Victorian Period Country House Hall Stand

Description

A fine quality mahogany Early Victorian Period Country house hall stand. Constructed using the finest mahogany, the upper section having a central carved cartouche above the central figured mahogany column with four finely carved branches each with two turned coat hooks. The lower section having a serpentine marble top and a mahogany lined frieze drawer with two swept mahogany arms for umbrellas which are raised on fine acanthus carved cabriole supports. Having turned column end supports and removable drip trays to the serpentine base, the whole supported on turned bun feet. English circa 1850-1860

Dimensions: 92" high x 56" wide x 16.5" deep (33" high to marble top)

Condition: This hall stand is in stunning original condition, cleaned and waxed
