Tinker & Toad has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
Flanked to either side with wardrobes with outer columns topped with capitals, mirrored in the centre cupboard. All the doors have nicely executed serpentine topped panels. The whole standing on a breakfront plinth base with shallow circular bun feet and inset ceramic castors. A skilfully constructed wardrobe with beautiful use of book-matched veneers throughout. A good looking, functional antique compactum wardrobe, becoming increasingly harder to find of this quality. Easier to install in smaller spaces as it breaks down in to five pieces. The top pelmet, centre cupboard and drawers, two outside wardrobes and the base. Could also be used as a hall cupboard.
