Large Regency Era Mahogany Chest of Drawers C.1830.

Description

Great quality large Regency era mahogany chest of drawers, c.1830. Bow fronted, with a pair of upper drawers over a graduated set of four larger drawers, a pair of smaller hidden frieze drawers to the top make for a total of eight. Cock beaded drawer fronts, each featuring oval brass back plates embossed with ‘bat wing’ ovals and heavy brass handles. Ring-turned and rope twist carved pilasters flank each side, terminating in tapering feet, with shaped bracket feet to the rear. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
