A small late 19th/early 20th century saryk turkmen rug with two rows of seven guls. Unusual lilacy aubergine ground colour.

Been hand washed,last three images,plenty images to look at.

All over low even pile. End losses but even with minor fringes. Side cord repaired left side edge and secured with conservators tape from rear. As good as it will ever look for £200.

Size is 3 foot 7 inches by 3 foot 2 inches. 111cm by 96cm. At widest points. All fine woollen construction.

A smaller rug ready to throw/decorate a small corner of a room !
