Puckerings has dated this piece to the 1890s.
The trays sit on four original feet, each with matching hallmarks with the silversmith's mark HS & H.
Either side has an attractive oval cut-out handle. Dating to c.1890, late Victorian in era, they remain in excellent condition.
The large example measures 24" x 17" x 3 5/8" tall each end. The smaller example measures 18 1/2" x 14 1/2" x 3 1/4" tall at each end.
