A very good example of a Patinated Antique Oak Dresser or Buffet Deux Corps From Pays de Caux, Normandy. Wonderful carved scrolling pediment to its top above glazed doors with carved fretwork and brass escutcheons. The base cupboard with attractive carved panels to its doors with matching brass escutcheons. Shaped apron to its base terminating with squat cariole legs. Enclosed shelves to the top and bottom cabinet. It has the most wonderful patina to the oak, rarely found in this condition. Comes complete with both keys for the upper and lower sections. The buffet comes in two sections for easier installation. Would suit both a modern or period interior.
