An unusual free standing Sheraton revival rosewood and inlaid ladies writing table from the workshops of Jas. Shoolbred of London. The cylinder shaped top opens to reveal a well fitted stationary compartment and the original green leather lined writing fall opens and is supported by the 2 drawers which have pierced brass handles. The whole stands on square tapering and harebell inlaid legs with brass casters and is joined with a shaped under tier with a pierced gallery to the back This attractive ladies desk is inlaid throughout subtle boxwood stringing.
